Meet your potential business partners: These new Canon printers

We’re all afraid of AI and machines taking our jobs, but come on, is there such thing as a human printer? As much as most things are now done digitally, printing hard copies is essential to nearly every kind of business. Owning your own printer is also better than running down to a printing shop since you can save on time and customise it to your own needs.

Canon, however, wants to make printers that do more than just spit out papers. That’s why they’ve unveiled 7 new printers designed to streamline business operations with exceptional efficiency, productivity and user experience.

These Canon printers are the imageCLASS LBP243dw, LBP246dw, LBP248x, MF461dw, MF465dw, MF469x and LBP732Cx. Meticulously optimised and improved, these printers are made to be the next business partners for the businesses that have ever-evolving modern needs.

“Today marks a pivotal moment in Canon’s journey of innovation. In line with our ‘Kyosei’ philosophy of living and working together for the common good, our new laser printers are a testament to our commitment to constant advancement, setting new standards in the industry,” — Masato Yoshiie, President and CEO of Canon Marketing Malaysia.

The seamless integration of cutting-edge features addresses the diverse needs of organisations, providing a reliable solution to enhance workflows and enabling businesses to achieve their goals with confidence and ease,” — Sandy lee, Head of Division, Personal System Devices of Canon Marketing Malaysia.

In terms of speed, the LBP246dw, LBP248x, MF465dw and MF469x can print out an impressive 40 pages-per-minute (ppm) in A4 size. Meanwhile the LBP732Cx prints out 38 ppm, and the more affordable LBP243dw and MF461dw can print 36 ppm. As for scanning, the MF460 series comes with the laser scanning speed of up to 100 sheets per minute.

All models are also equipped with automatic duplex printing, which reduces paper consumption. This means businesses can both save costs and have sustainable practices.

Additionally, they come with integrated cloud solutions, with support for Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive for printing and scanning. Got a Microsoft Azure subscription? Enjoy connectivity with the Microsoft Universal Print support! Got Mac instead of Windows? Also no problem, they connect perfectly to Mac products. Don’t have computers??? Well, we got to try wireless printing with our phones and it was hassle-free.
