At the launch, ReadyCare founder Yeoh Eng Foo said their baby care line is built upon the research and lessons they leant from their other products, since there is very little room for trial and error with baby products.

ReadyCare Signature is the first Malaysian brand to earn USDA bio-based certification. Their new Baby Care products, like the rest of its range, are vegan-certified by the UK Vegan Society and Halal-certified by JAKIM. The company believes the products can address growing concerns among parents about chemical exposure, offering a safer alternative that protects both their children and the environment.

“According to World Health Organization guidelines, children are more vulnerable to chemical exposure because their organs and immune systems are still developing. Our Baby Care line is designed with this in mind, providing a healthier, gentler cleaning experience that parents can trust.”

– Yeoh Eng Foo, ReadyCare Founder and Managing Director

The products replace many harsh harsh chemicals with milder alternatives such as baking soda and renewable resources like essential oils. These are all food-grade as well, for added peace of mind when it comes into contact with your baby’s skin.

Pet shampoo, cleaning solution, and baby care refill stations

Speaking to the writer, Yeoh said he founded the company with the goal of environmental sustainability – something that they practice throughout the manufacturing process. On the consumer end, it’s in getting buyers to use less single-use containers and reducing the amount of chemicals we wash down the drain and into the environment.

Part of this comes with the pricing, based on the belief that we shouldn’t be paying a premium to be environmentally sustainable or wanting more natural alternatives. This is why ReadyCare’s prices are usually equivalent or just slightly more expensive than non bio-based products.

To further this mission, ReadyCare also deployed refill stations for their cleaning liquids, pet shampoo, and baby care which you can buy 30% less than retail price. The dispensing nozzles will work with any bottle, so you can use anything from an old detergent bottle to a milk container. The machines are also cashless, so you can pay using most e-wallets.

There are currently 7 refill stations in Ipoh (where ReadyCare is based), PJ, and KL, with more planned in the near future:

  • AEON Kinta City, Ipoh, Perak
  • AEON Klebang, Ipoh, Perak
  • AEON Station 18, Ipoh, Perak
  • AEON Taiping, Taiping, Perak
  • AmBank HQ, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, KL
  • AmBank, Jalan Raja Chulan, KL
  • Matahari Organic Store, Taman Sea, PJ

ReadyCare Signature products are available in many major supermarket outlets like AEON, Village Grocer and NSK; alongside their website, Shopee and Lazada. If you’re in Ipoh (or live in Ipoh), check out their experience store in Taman Ipoh Selatan which Yeoh tells us was decorated with reused building materials.
