International pickleball tournament organised by Kingtek officially launches
Kingtek Energy Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Baseline held a press conference to announce the Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025, taking place on August 16 and 17, 2025 at the Grand Pickleball Arena (GPA), Shah Alam, Malaysia.
This is a large-scale international tournament organized by a Vietnamese brand, aiming to connect the Pickleball community in Southeast Asia and create a professional playground for athletes from many countries in the region. The press conference was attended by the Organizing Committee, Kingtek Pickleball Club athletes who will compete in the tournament, representatives of domestic and foreign partners, press agencies, and many Pickleball lovers.
With the spirit of “Sports create prosperity”, Kingtek International 2025 is not only a competition but also a journey of sports inspiration, cultural exchange and community development. The goal of the tournament is to spread Pickleball – a sport that is growing strongly in the world – closer to the sports-loving community in Asia, while demonstrating the professional organization and international stature of the Vietnamese brand.
- Tournament Structure:
The tournament is divided into three skill levels:
- Novice (<3.2)
- Intermediate (<4.0)
- Open (no skill limit)
Competition categories include: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
- Prize Structure:
- Total prize value up to RM 100,000, including cash, premium Kingtek paddles, Kingtek trophies, and medals.
- Open Division Champions will receive RM 5,000, a Kingtek Trophy, Gold Medal, and two Kingtek K09 paddles—a high-performance model suitable for both casual and professional play.
- Intermediate and Novice Division Champions will also receive cash prizes from RM 500 to RM 3,000, along with Kingtek K07/K09 paddles and Silver/Bronze Medals respectively.
The matches will be played under international standards on the modern courts of Grand Pickleball Arena, regarded as one of Southeast Asia’s premier pickleball facilities. The official registration deadline is August 10, 2025, and players can register online by scanning the QR code on the tournament poster or via the Kingtek Pickleball fanpage.
