[CiliChat] Malaysia’s Aging High-Rise Problem

The Urban Renewal Bill (URA) is getting its 2nd reading today, 27 Aug. It sets redevelopment consent thresholds at 80% (or 75% if the building is over 30 y/o, and 51% if abandoned). Critics say the thresholds are too low and too developer-friendly. What do you think? Upgrade or uproar?
