HEINEKEN Malaysia Crowns the Top Bartender
Heineken Malaysia Berhad (HEINEKEN Malaysia) celebrated the 2023 Star Academy National Finals, honoring J’Shua Chua of JJ Wine and Tapas in Johor as the 2023 National Champion, going away with an all-expenses-paid trip to Amsterdam, the Home of Heineken!
The final match on Friday marked the conclusion of HEINEKEN Malaysia’s 2023 National Star Academy Championship and Training, which was inaugurated earlier this year and successfully trained bartenders across the country with the product knowledge and technical know-how to pour the perfect glass of beer. Throughout the training, the brewer was looking for the best bartender in each region to participate in today’s exciting conclusion.
The brewer crowned the national champion crowning J’Shua Chua, from JJ Wine and Tapas, Johor, alongside Yeoh Seng Yao from Maze Eatery and Bar, Perak, who emerged as the runner-up; as well as James Aloysius Mojitu from Stylo Marriott Sabah who came in at third place.
J’Shua Chua of JJ Wine and Tapas in Johor was voted national champion, followed by Yeoh Seng Yao of Maze Eatery and Bar in Perak, who finished second, and James Aloysius Mojitu of Stylo Marriott Sabah, who finished third.
