[INFOGRAPHICS] What does this Kelantanese palace and this Scottish hut have in common?

While we’re divided by the South China Sea, the Indian Ocean, and an 8 hour time difference, Malaysia and the UK share many cultural connections below the surface.

Since 2019, the British Council has been bridging partnership through its Connections Through Culture programme, offering grants that allow artists, organisations and networks from Malaysia and the UK to collaborate on creative projects.

Thanks to Connections Through Culture, artists and organisations from both countries are able to collaborate on creative projects, bridge cultural differences, and share their creative outputs with international audiences in both regions.

Check out this website to see what the 2023 grant projects have accomplished, and follow the British Council Malaysia for more opportunities!
