Can you actually WALK across the bridge from Singapore to Johor?

We tried asking folks at the Singaporean Embassy in KL if it was possible to cross the Johor-Singapore Causeway by foot. Half of them said yes while the other half said no… so to find out, we decided to try it ourselves.
