Slurpee gets a refreshed look to refresh YOU on hot days. Try it for FREE in Johor or RM2 at any 7-11 nationwide!

For many Malaysians, a Slurpee from 7-Eleven holds many fond memories. With this writer at least, it always starts with the excitement of seeing the green tutti-frutti flavor available. Then, it’s the thrill of trying to fit as much of that slushy as as humanly possible into the cup. And being able to do that without spraying or paying with sticky fingers requires a fair bit of courage.

On that note of courage, 7-Eleven has partnered with Naga DDB Tribal to launch #BeraniKeranaSlurpee – a rallying call for fans to be confident in doing the things they love, everyday. Coinciding with a new look for the beloved icy drink, the campaign goes beyond a simple visual uplift – it acts as liquid courage and enables a confident attitude in many things.

The campaign started off with a short film on 21st May. The film is the first of three in a series that showcases a daring heroine facing everyday dilemmas with confidence and courage.

7-Eleven also held two grand on-ground events near Lot 10 and 1st Avenue. Visitors enjoyed free Slurpee in the new cups, and tried their hand at decorating personalized cups for their icy drinks. The truly berani also had the chance to craft their own magnificent giant Slurpee!  Free Tote Bags were also up for grabs for those who shared a photo or video of their “berani” experiences on 7-Eleven’s socials with the hashtag #BeraniKeranaSlurpee.

If you missed this, there’s good news if you’re in Johor! One last hurrah is planned at Jalan Tan Hiok Nee from 31st of May till 2nd of June.

For everyone else, there’s a special in-store promotional price for Slurpee in their brand new cup design – only RM2 for the 22-ounce cup throughout the month of May.
