Father sings lullaby to baby creatively

Parents often opt for lullabies that are calming to make their babies sleep. Among the lullabies that we, Malaysians might be familiar with is kacang ketot, oh anakku (the Malay version of hush little baby), twinkle twinkle little star, and rock a bye Baby.

Putting a fussy baby to sleep is not an easy feat (this writer is not a parent, but she has done aunty duties since she was eight). They have so much of demands. Sometimes, you think they are sound asleep and want to place them in their crib. Then, BAAAMMMMM, they wail their lungs out until you carry them again.

In the video above you can see the father trying to dodoi his child by singing a Nashyid song soothingly. The baby starts to cry. Kesian the father. But he still didn’t give up. He upped the tempo and started switching it to rock.
