Malaysia’s MAG and Unsigned5 shine in APAC Predator League 2025

If you thought Malaysia’s mamak arguments about whether Dota 2 or VALORANT reign supreme were intense, wait till you hear about the absolute carnage at the Predator League Malaysia Qualifier Finals!

As they claimed their right to represent Malaysia in the APAC Predator League 2025 in January 2025, the two best esports teams, Team Myth Avenue Gaming (MAG) and Team Unsigned5, were showered with praise in a sea of confetti at the Predator League 2025 Malaysia Qualifier Finals.

Team MAG’s flawless victory in Dota 2

Team MAG are no strangers to the international arena. They have proudly represented the nation in previous tournaments, and their participation this year promises to make the APAC Predator League 2025 an unmissable event.

The qualifiers showcased intense battles among Malaysia’s top teams. In Dota 2, Team MAG dominated Team Odd Taxi in a breathtaking final, demonstrating exceptional strategy and skills for a 3-0 victory.

Their reward? A shiny Predator Shield, RM10,000 in cash, Predator merchandise worth RM11,000, and the right to say, “Malaysia Boleh!” as they represent Malaysia in the APAC Predator League 2025.

Team Unsigned 5 biggest comeback in Valorant

In the VALORANT showdown, Unsigned5 emerged victorious after a nail-biting contest against Team Todak. They came back from the lower bracket to deliver a thrilling performance filled with remarkable precision, strategy, and teamwork to clinch the championship. Tied at 1-1 after two games, they went on to take the subsequent two games for a 3-1 finish in a final that took three hours.
