If you saw a bunch of foodpanda riders walking around with huge smiles this weekend, now you know why.
Over 300 riders, fams, media, and partners pulled up to Durian Runtuh 2.0 – Anugerah Hero Tapau, foodpanda Malaysia’s epic appreciation party at KL Gateway Mall, and let’s just say… it was a vibe. 
This wasn’t just any event – it was foodpanda’s way of saying a huge THANK YOU to the delivery partners who keep our cravings satisfied 24/7, rain or shine.
And get this – they gave out more than RM340,000 worth of prizes. Yup. You read that right.
Let’s talk grand prizes 
Three insanely lucky riders each walked away with a fully-sponsored Umrah package for FOUR people, worth over RM108,000 total. Talk about wholesome.
But that’s not all. Another 196 riders scored gold bars (yes, real gold), based on their top-tier performance throughout the year. In total, that came up to more than RM233,000 in gold. 
Here’s the breakdown:
14 riders got 10g gold bars
28 got 5g bars
42 got 2.5g bars
And 112 got 1g bars
That’s 199 total rider winners across the country. Major flex.
