How does this Malaysian condo nicely fit 2 bedrooms and bathrooms into…. 678sqf?!

Lots of room to live.

If you’re like 80% of CILISOS readers, then you’re probably familiar with this super dense place called Petaling Jaya. Report shows that there are currently 520,698 people living in PJ, and this number doesn’t seem to be going down any time soon.

With more people living in this metro city, and limited space to house everyone, there’s no surprise that many developers  have been making the best of their resources by building smaller condo units.

But… how to live comfortably in a teeny tiny place la?

Our friends at OSK Property has got it all down pat. You may have heard of Ryan & Miho – a very quirky name for a property development. Located right beside Jaya One in Section 13 PJ, it basically makes up two towers called, well, Ryan and Miho.

They have three different unit sizes – 678 sqf, 818 sqf and 990sqf – with the smallest one already featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms. What this means is, it’s ideal even for young couples, young adults with a spare room for parents, or retirees trying to downsize after their kids move out.

The units are cleverly designed to give you enough space in the long, living area, keeping the bathrooms and bedrooms tucked away at the sides of the unit. Selected unit owners also get to enjoy a store room (35 – 80 sqf), so you won’t need to bring the clutter into your own home. There are also 1 – 3 car parking lots per unit.

But that’s just half of life in Ryan & Miho – the other comes in the form of a Turkish and/or Japanese lifestyle. ‘Ryan’ comes from the Turkish word meaning ‘oasis’, and ‘Miho’ from a Japanese word meaning ‘beautiful’. These two towers have their own unique facilities and design, so you could feel like you’re in Turkey or Japan in just a few steps.

There’s also a 2.2-acre sized podium where you can find a luxurious Turkish hammam/bath and even a Japanese hot bath overlooking a bamboo garden for you to de-stress after work. There’s also a Maze Garden, a Tea Pavilion, a herb garden, a futsal court, a BBQ pit, a surau, sauna, swimming pool and an outdoor gym.

By now you wouldn’t be surprised that the green landscape is designed by an award-winning designer firm… no wonder la so cantik.

It’s easy to forget you’re in the middle of bustling PJ

Looking at all those photos, it’s surely easy to lose yourself if you don’t keep track of the life around you. Speaking of which, the development is actually surrounded by all sorts of amenities – 6 commercial hubs, 9 shopping centres, more than 12 universities and international schools, 4 legit medical outlets, and 3 major highways.

They’re also building a bridge directly to their neighbour, Jaya One, so you don’t need to get out and walk on the main road just to buy groceries. But perhaps the cherry at the top is that Jalan Universiti (the road to Ryan & Miho) will be expanded from 2 to 3 lanes very soon.

Less jammed when you go home? Yes please.
