Flux introduces new TÜV-certified smart light for vision protection
Flux is a local lighting brand with an eye on the future and they’ve just launched its HELIOS Pendant Light, a TÜV-certified smart light designed to help office workers and remote creatives who spend hours staring at screens under artificial light. They’ve teamed up with Richard’s Prestige Lighting & Design, one of Asia Pacific’s biggest custom lighting makers, to make this eye-friendly light available to more people.
The HELIOS comes with RG0 TÜV certification, meaning it meets top global eye-safety standards. It covers a wide 1.2-meter area, shines bright at 1600 lux, and offers a high colour accuracy (RA>95), giving soft, natural-looking light without the usual eye strain risks. It’s built with science-backed tech that mimics natural light cycles and cuts down glare and flickering which are the usual culprits behind tired eyes and blue-light damage.

The idea for HELIOS came from a professional who suffered eye strain from harsh office lighting and late-night screen time. It’s also a response to the growing problem of digital eye strain and early myopia in today’s work-from-home generation.
