The “Futureland” Festival was held at the historic Stadium Merdeka, which was recently restored to its former glory. It transformed this historic site into a vibrant hub for live music. This historic venue, where independence was declared and global artists have performed, is now serving as a staple of Malaysia’s music scene.
With its rebuilt infrastructure, the arena provided a perfect setting for outstanding performances, reviving its legacy. The festival had an impressive lineup of both famous and rising musicians, cementing its position as a dynamic platform for local talent.

From Aina Abdul to Zynakal, Malaysia’s diverse music range offers something for everyone
The “Futureland” Festival brought together people from diverse backgrounds for a whole day of celebration and admiration for music, culture, and community. Artists from Malaysia’s music scene, including Hujan, Masdo, Aina Abdul, Bunkface, Ayda Jebat, Amsyar Leee, empty page, FUGŌ, Hael Husaini, Fimie Don, Nadeera, Rizal Rasid, Syamel, TUJU, Wani Kayrie, and Zynakal, took the stage to give us Malaysians an unforgettable festival.
Aina Abdul, known for her songs like Semalam, Sepi and Terus Hidup, is one of Malaysia’s most celebrated voices. She made her debut at a music festival, captivating the audience with her powerful vocals and stage presence, marking a historic moment for both her and the event.
Hujan, the local indie rock band has been taking the local scene by storm with songs like Aku Skandal, Kotak Hati, and Bila Aku Sudah Tiada, closed the 10-hour festival with an exhilarating performance that left the audience in amazement and perfectly capturing the essence of “Futureland” was Hujan.

Beyond the live performances, the music festival also offered attendees a variety of interactive activities. The Watsons Glow Up Zone was a vibrant highlight, featuring beauty and wellness booths where festival-goers enjoyed exclusive freebies, sampling and engaging experiences.
