This awe-inspiring unveiling at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, commencing from the 21st of July to the 31st of October, marks a historic milestone in Tesla’s journey as it introduces Model Y, a beacon of sustainable mobility designed for the masses.

In a grand stride towards achieving Tesla’s Secret Master Plan – to usher in the world’s transition to sustainable energy – the Model Y encapsulates an alluring blend of power, versatility, safety, and cutting-edge technology. It’s not just a car; it’s a statement – a pledge to create a cleaner, greener future for Malaysia and the world.

The Model Y, a mid-size SUV that comfortably seats five passengers, masterfully marries space with comfort. It flaunts a generous 2.1 cubic metres of cargo space and state-of-the-art, ultra-responsive motors. With a blistering acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and an impressive range of up to 533 km (WLTP), it’s a game-changer in the realm of electric mobility. Deliveries to Malaysian customers will commence in early 2024, with a tantalising starting price of RM199,000.

Tesla’s commitment to sustainable mobility expands beyond vehicles. It unveils a comprehensive vision for a greener Malaysia, encompassing experience centres, top-notch service and support, and a robust charging infrastructure. The unveiling of the first indoor Supercharger Station at Pavilion KL, featuring eight Superchargers, heralds the beginning of Tesla’s nationwide Supercharging network expansion.

Tesla’s alignment with Malaysia’s vision for low-carbon mobility and EV industry support unveils a cascade of benefits for new Tesla owners. Enjoy full import and excise duties exemption on zero-emission Tesla vehicles. Further sweetening the deal are benefits like 100% road tax exemption and individual income tax relief of up to RM2,500 on EV charging facilities for the assessment year of 2023. Companies renting non-commercial EVs can claim tax deduction up to RM300,000 from the year of assessment 2023 until 2025.
