MATRADE and DISINI Work sign MoU for gig workers to have more job opportunities abroad

Last Tuesday, the two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a collaboration in gig economy platform, disiniwork.com. The MoU was signed by Datuk Mohd Mustafa Abdul (CEO of MATRADE ) and Abbyamir Sapie (CEO of DISINI Work Sdn Bhd), which took place in a ceremony held during a networking session in MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.

Here’s what this collaboration entails…

Malaysian gig workers can now access more overseas job opportunities!

Leveraging on MATRADE’s extensive global network, the MoU aims to boost outsourcing job offerings from abroad via disiniwork.com. According to MATRADE’s CEO, Datuk Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz, this will accelerate the exports of services, in the form of outsourcing jobs rendered by Malaysian gig workers registered in the disiniwork.com platform, to overseas clients.

“The collaboration between DISINI Work and MATRADE is a bold move that will benefit the industry, government, academic institutions and primarily, the youths of this nation. With this partnership, Malaysia shall be the global hub and regional preference, for digital services delivered by our talents, meeting the required international standards. With MATRADE’s long-standing experience in promoting local products and services globally, we foresee with full confidence, disiniwork.com platform could contribute significantly to the export of services in coming years” – Abbyamir Sapie, CEO of DISINI Work Sdn Bhd.

The initiative will be focused on assisting gig workers, including young graduates and students to access employment opportunities worldwide, hence growing higher-income jobs within the gig economy.
