Travelling this December? Well, hold on to your boarding passes because KLIA is about to take your journey to a whole new level with its whimsical Christmas celebration, “Alice’s Adventures: A Magical Christmas.”

Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and in collaboration with the British Library, this festive extravaganza is taking place from December 1st to December 31st, 2024, and is sure to create a captivating holiday experience for travellers of all ages.

Journey into the Wonderland this December

Beginning with the entertaining “Gigantic Tea-Cup Ride,” which draws inspiration from Alice’s Mad Tea Party with the Hatter and March Hare, travellers can enter an alternate reality at KLIA. The journey continues with the mesmerising “Rabbit Hole Kaleidoscope” creating a vibrant, immersive experience, while the enchanting “Queen’s Rose Tunnel” invites travellers to capture memories against lush red roses reminiscent of the Queen’s Croquet-Ground.

This magical adventure is happening at other airports in Malaysia

In the midst of busy terminals crowded with vacationers and children, Malaysia Airports wants to create a magical, Wonderland-inspired experience where imagination blossoms and every corner is sure to bring awe and excitement.

That’s why this magical experience is extending to other Malaysian airports and not only KLIA. Our other international airports—Penang International Airport (PIA), Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA), Kuching International Airport (KIA), and Langkawi International Airport (LIA) are also undergoing a festive makeover, transforming them into wonderlands during the busiest travel season. Talk a major revamp for our airports nationwide.

The installations span KLIA Terminal 1 and 2, with an abundance of activities and demonstrations set to fill the airport with festive spirit throughout the December festive season, ensuring every journey through our airports are memorable this season.
