How many Malaysians still need to work after retirement? Take our survey now!

For many Malaysians, thinking about the future is such a mafan affair. In fact, even asking “Eh, where to makan today?” might get your group of friends stuck in a loop. And while the consequences of not deciding where to eat in time might just be going hangry, the repercussions of not preparing for retirement in time is much bigger.

This is especially worrying as we often hear that very few Malaysians have enough money to retire, with a report saying only 3% of EPF contributors can afford retiring. Why so little? Is it poor planning? Is it the economy? Bad policies? Or… is it just the norm? Who can answer these hard questions? WHO? Who we ask?!

Why, YOU, of course! Together with Sun Life Malaysia, a life insurance and family takaful provider, we’re trying to look into the rakyats’ minds and find out how Malaysians are preparing for retirement. But that’s not all! We’d also like to know other interesting things like:

  • How many will still need to work after retirement?
  • Do Malaysians prefer to retire overseas or in Malaysia? In kampungs or cities?
  • Do Malaysians expect to stay with their children after they retire, live by themselves, or sign up to a retirement home?
  • …and many more!

So whether you’re worried about retirement, had everything figured out, or even if you’ve never thought of it before, come on down and help us out by answering our survey questions!
