The Malaysia International Durian & Cultural Fest promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience for durian fans, with the largest durian buffet fest ever hosted. The festival hopes to attract over 1000 Chinese tourists who contribute to Malaysia’s economy through housing, food, and spending through cooperation with the Malaysia Inbound Chinese Association (MICA).

Among many events planned out, the first-ever 5KM Durian Fun Run is one of the festival’s most anticipated events. Furthermore, participants will have the one-of-a-kind opportunity to join brand spokespeople Amber Chia and Chan Fong in this remarkable event that combines fitness with a love of durians interestingly and engagingly.

The Malaysia International Durian Cultural Fest originated from our desire to promote Malaysia’s Durian (The King of Fruits) on a global scale.

“Our goal is to establish a month-long celebration dedicated to this cherished fruit, where people from all over the world may learn about the delights of Malaysian durians. We envision a Durian Fest in July, similar to the famed Oktoberfest celebrated in Western countries around October, giving a particular purpose to Malaysia’s cultural calendar and inviting tourists to visit our wonderful country.” said Mr Leron Yee, Founder of DKing.
