Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launches new EV variants, and a luxurious car service wait experience
Redefining the idea of a prestigious Mercedes moment, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia rolled out Star Elegance – a first-of-its-kind lifestyle retail concept within the automotive industry, debuting at Hap Seng Star Bukit Tinggi. Simultaneously, four EQE variants were also introduced, adding two sedan and two SUV models to their all-electric line of cars.
With Star Elegance, customers can now enjoy a nail spa and other wellness services
The retail concept, with other wellness services to be expanded over several phases, offers an experience where customers can enjoy existing amenities like the Mercedes-Benz Café for a refreshing cup of coffee or shop.
The introduction of Star Elegance is a result of insights gathered from comprehensive focus groups of close to 400 customers. Key insights indicated that 94% of the customers find a lifestyle retail concept interesting. Moreover, 91% of the customers would patronize a lifestyle shop while their vehicle is being serviced.

Other services completing the immersive lifestyle experience include state-of-the-art charging solutions for electric vehicle owners, the Mercedes me App Digital Extras, and various Mercedes-Benz safety features.

Four new Mercedes-Benz EQE variants were simultaneously launched
Diversifying their range of all-electric vehicles, two sedan and two SUV variants of the Mercedes-Benz EQE were introduced. All EQE variants now come with 22 kW onboard charger and an electric vehicle charging socket flap.
Mercedes-Benz EQE Sedan
The sporty business sedan offers all the essential functions of the EQS in a slightly more compact format. The EQE features a sporty ‘purpose design’ with all the characteristic elements of Mercedes-Benz EQ, one-bow lines and cab-forward design. The overhangs and the front end are kept short, the rear provides the dynamic accent with a sharp rear spoiler.
The battery has a usable energy content of 90.56 kWh and the range of up to 682 km according to WLTP.
The base variant Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ Electric Art Line features an Electric Art exterior and interior, 19-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, ARTICO man-made leather black / space grey upholstery, Advanced Sound System, and comes with an alternating current (AC) onboard charging system capable of charging the vehicle with up to 22 kW.
The EQE 350+ Electric Art Line builds on the rich equipment level of the former EQE 350+ with AMG Line. Thus, it comes with DIGITAL LIGHT, Driving Assistance Package, laser-cut backlit trim with Mercedes-Benz pattern, active ambient lighting, KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package, and Parking Package with 360° camera.
The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ AMG Line has been upgraded with new features such as a panoramic sunroof, Radiator grille with Mercedes-Benz pattern, rear axle steering with up to 10° steering angle adjustment, AIRMATIC air suspension, an electric charging socket flap.
It features an alternating current (AC) onboard charging system capable of charging the vehicle with up to 22 kW.

Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV
The EQE SUV is the multi-purpose variant of the EQE executive sedan. It’s available with the essential innovations of the EQS and is one of the most spacious representatives of its class.
The vehicle achieves a total output of 215 kW and an increased range of up to 596 km according to WLTP. The new EQE 350+ SUV variants in Malaysia debut with an additional colour choice, velvet brown metallic, expanding the range of available colors.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ SUV Electric Art Line variant sports Electric Art exterior and interior, 20-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels, NEOTEX / ARTICO man-made leather black / space grey upholstery, laser-cut backlit trim with Mercedes-Benz pattern, comfort suspension, and Advanced Sound System.
In addition, the vehicle comes with DIGITAL LIGHT, Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, Driving Assistance Package Plus, Parking Package with 360° camera, and MBUX augmented reality for navigation. The EQE 350+ SUV Electric Art Line mirrors the comprehensive equipment of the EQE 350+ sedan with Electric Art Line.
On the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ SUV AMG Line variant, customers enjoy the extensive equipment present on the current Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4MATIC SUV such as panoramic sunroof, AIRMATIC suspension, rear axle steering, Burmester® 3D surround sound system, and sports seats. New to the EQE 350+ SUV with AMG Line is the 20-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels.
