MILO brings energy and inspiration to 200 young adults at Taylor’s University with Pentas Tenaga MILO

MILO ignited passion and perseverance among 200 young adults at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus with its highly anticipated Pentas Tenaga Milo initiative.

As part of the broader Skuad Tenaga Malaysia MILO campaign, Pentas Tenaga MILO served as a platform aimed at inspiring and providing a voice for young adults to continue pursuing their ambitions and goals. 

An actor, an entrepreneur, and a national squash player shared their inspiring stories

The event featured several influential guest speakers who shared their real-life stories of determination and resilience from their respective fields, including:

Nadhir Nasar
A talented Malaysian actor known for his roles in television dramas and movies, Nadhir is not only excelling as an actor at the age of 28 but also aspiring to venture into directing, aiming to make a significant impact in the film industry. Beyond this, he is also a Friend of MILO and is actively championing the overarching Skuad Tenaga Malaysia MILO campaign.

Kim May Chee
A successful female entrepreneur, May Chee made her mark by launching Malaysia’s first blow-dry bar, COCOdry, at the age of 26, demonstrating remarkable entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.

Sivasangari Subramaniam
Sivasangari is a national squash player, achieving her career-best world ranking of No. 10 at just 25 years young. She was honored as Athlete of the Month by The World Games for her impressive title-winning performance at the London Classic.

Taylor’s University students also shared their own stories

Echoing MILO’s goal to inspire and empower the youth, the Pentas Tenaga platform also provided students an opportunity to step into the spotlight and share their personal experiences of milestones over hardships.

Emir Rusyaidi
Emir is a Taylor’s Scholar pursuing his Bachelor of Information Technology. A veteran of competitive chess with more than 10 years of experience, he served as the President of Taylor’s Chess Club from 2020 to 2024. Emir is also a skilled and experienced public speaker.

Koh Zi Tian
Zi Tian is a Taylor’s Scholar pursuing her Bachelor of Law. She is also a Malaysian Standard Ballroom Dancer who has represented Malaysia in France, Italy, Taiwan, and China. She has also served as a campus ambassador for multiple global brands.

And of course, the iconic MILO trucks made an appearance

At the event, MILO provided nutritious energy to the attendees by distributing 5,000 cups of MILO from the iconic MILO truck, and stickpacks containing all six products such as MILO Original, MILO Hi-Fibre, and the latest MILO Intense Dark Chocolate.

Ng Su Yen, Business Executive Officer of MILO, said:

Group Chief Marketing Officer at Taylor’s University, Ben Foo, added that the Pentas Tenaga MILO initiative offered their students invaluable insights and inspiration from experts across various fields, including their own Scholars, to help them achieve their goals.
