The NEA has been the highlight event for Malaysia’s sustainable energy efforts since 2018. The goal? To give kudos to corporations and institutions that are saving our planet one innovative step at a time.

This year’s submissions were no joke; the entrants have managed to cut energy by a jaw-dropping 1.34 GW! That’s comparable to turning off every light in the Petronas Twin Towers, TRX building and several skyscrapers simultaneously! The results? A carbon emissions reduction of over 23,000 metric tonnes every year!

3. Renewable Energy: From the sunny rays of solar, the future promise of solar to hydrogen, the magic of bio-gas, and the power of mini hydro projects.

The head of the judging panel, Ir. Chen Thiam Leong stated that our champions are set to shine at the ASEAN Energy Awards, a platform that celebrates the best energy-saving heroes in the region.

The National Energy Awards are more than just a ceremony. These awards play a pivotal role in spreading the word about how crucial sustainable energy is. They push businesses to leap into a future that’s not just profitable but sustainable. And for Malaysia, it’s a promise to a greener, cleaner future. Our 2050 goal? Zero GHG emissions.
