We bet your parents have given you advice like these before:
- Don’t talk to strangers, nanti kena pukau (a.k.a. hypnotized).
- Always lock your car as soon as you get in, later someone enter your car.
- Hold your handbag on the side that’s not facing the street, otherwise takut kena ragut.
But, in real life, have you ever encountered situations that made you feel unsafe?
Some of us at Cilisos and Soscili definitely have. In fact, when we did a round in our office asking “have you ever encountered a situation on the streets that made you feel scared?”, we got A LOT of responses, like:
“A guy tried to enter my car while I was stopped at a red light. Luckily my car was locked.” – Nabihah
“My friend Dhinesh was walking while talking on the phone, and suddenly a guy on a motorbike came and snatched his phone.” – UiHua
So, if you’ve ever been just casually strolling down the streets and suddenly felt worried, you’re not alone buddy!
