OMG. What kinda sale did they have in Plaza Low Yat that required… Rela guards?!

With Christmas just round the corner, you can already hear the flushing sounds in your bank account. Habis lo… gotta buy presents for everyone.

Thankfully this is also the time for big sales, so if you’re lucky, you can grab a whole bunch of stuff at a fraction of the original price. Mebbe still got a bit of money left for you to see fireworks in a nice KL rooftop bar. 🙂

With that in mind, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to check out the upcoming Mega IT Fair by our friends in Plaza Low Yat

For 4 HOURS only, Plaza Low Yat will be throwing prices like nobody’s business

Sponsored by One Plus, Samsung, Hoco Malaysia and HP, the Mega IT Fair fair will run from 26th Nov – 2nd Dec 2018, 10am – 10pm, at the Concourse Area of the mall. Expect sellers throwing prices left right and centre during this period, so faster go get your Christmas shopping done.

But if you like games and all, drop by during the weekend (Sat-Sun, 1-2 Dec 2018). During this time, there will be a super kancheong event called ‘Hot Deals’, where for a few hours only, you’ll get to buy products at discounted prices, from as low as RM5! The deals are so good that they even got Rela guards to help during the last Mega IT Fair in April. These will only run from 1-2pm and 7-8pm, so don’t be late ok? 🙂

Wear comfortable shoes - you're gonna need it for the queue!

At the same time, you can also enter the race for the ‘Grand Prize’, which is… *drum rolls* Smart home appliances and devices worth a whopping RM20,000. Every receipt with a minimum spend of RM200 will qualify you to one entry. (RM200 = 1 entry form; RM800 = 4 entry forms; RM1500 = 7 entry forms; etc)

It also wouldn’t be an IT fair without a social media contest. If you’re a Facebook addict, take advantage of Plaza Low Yat’s ‘Share N Win’ contest where you can like+follow+comment+share their contest post to stand a chance to win a free Xiaomi Pocophone. (Contest duration: 19th Nov – 2nd Dec 2018.) We’ll update the article when they share the official post, but for now, it probably wouldn’t hurt to follow them on Facebook… y’know… in case Cilisos lag a bit.

On that same weekend, they’ll also be kickin’ it old-school with carnival games

Ahhh… long before Overwatch and Dota 2 ruined friendships, we had simple, innocent fun. These were games that looked to be so easy but were oddly challenging, so much so you’d start wondering if you’ve always been a failure in life.

Like the infamous ring toss. Urgh so tuff! Gif from The Simpsons

You’ll be in for an array of familiar games in the ‘Spend N Win’ segment, like claw and vending machines! What can you win tho? There’s the iPhone XS, GoPro 7, Samsung Note 9, Huawei Mate 20 and PlayStation 4 for ABSOLUTELY FREE!

If you’ve gone shopping in the mall, you’ll get to play these games to win those prizes! If your receipt is between RM200 – RM1,499.99, you can try your luck at Game Booths B (Nerf Gun and a game that’s yet to be revealed!); if your receipt is above RM1,500, you’ll get to play the claw machine. RM200 in one receipt will entitle you to one try at the game booths. (RM200 = 1 try, RM400 (in two different receipts, RM200+RM200) = 2 tries, etc.)

If you’re not one to spend, don’t worry… just hang around at the concourse area cos there will be other prizes you can win from random giveaways.

In the meantime, you can always follow them on Facebook, Instagram and website. Who knows – you may just get a sneak peek into the sale 😉
