Well, in case you didn’t know, this month marks SIXTY YEARS since Zoo Negara first opened its doors to the public in November 1963! And as part of their anniversary this time round, they’ve outdone themselves by teaming up with Malaysia’s beloved jewelry brand, HABIB, to come up with…

…LIMITED-EDITION wildlife-themed HABIB gold coins?!

To celebrate Zoo Negara’s 60th anniversary, HABIB has pledged to donate RM100,000 to the zoo AND released a new mane attraction in their already dazzling lineup of jewelry.

As part of HABIB’s commitment to supporting Zoo Negara’s conservation and education efforts, Habib have partnered up with the zoo for the SECOND time since 2020 to release a line of limited-edition 999.9 gold wafers. The gold merch are inspired by animals entering a new dawn and the beginning of a new chapter for Zoo Negara. Plus, they’re not lion ok. 999.9 gold means the coins are 99.99% pure gold with only 0.01% made up of other metals.

This means not only are the wafers perfect as part of a collection or as a gift – they’re also neat ways to introduce children to investing while helping them get into the habit of saving money and appreciate the value of gold. In fact, if your child is as much of an animal lover as we are, you’ll be pleased to know the wafer coins come in…
